The Ensemble Zeitfluss returns to the stage!

In the spring of this year, Austrian composer Peter Ablinger passed away – a turning point that also affected the Ensemble Zeitfluss. Almost as if by coincidence, the ensemble also fell silent during this time.

After a funding rejection in spring 2025, we are now returning to the concert stage with even greater determination. Our upcoming concert on 13.10.2025 at 7:30 pm in the Minoritensaal is dedicated to Peter Ablinger, among others, and focuses on one of his works. With the composition “18 Ulrichsberger/Tänze” from his Landschaftsoper Ulrichsberg, a rarely performed work by Ablinger once again finds its way into a concert programme. The concert thus becomes a musical tribute to an idiosyncratic and prolific composer of our time.

But this concert is not only a retrospective, it also looks to the future: Two world premieres by Sinan Samanli and Sergi Puig Serna provide fresh impules and showcase the new talents currently emerging in contemporary music. In this way, the ensemble also underlines its commitment to offering young artists a platform on which they can experiment and showcase their art.
